Thursdays from 8-9:15 at The Breathing Tree
Led by Mitch Williams
Often called "meditation in motion", Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese tradition and martial art that has evolved into a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai chi practice integrates mind, body, and spirit, and has been found to be highly beneficial for stress reduction, improved balance and posture, lowering blood pressure, and a variety of other significant health factors. We will practice Yang style "short form" and "24 form" in group settings. Beginners always welcome.
